“Don't leave Earth without it.”

Arthur Dent (Martin Freeman) is an ordinary Englishman whose Thursday gets worse fast, with the Earth about to be demolished by an alien construction crew. His friend Ford Prefect (Yasiin Bey) turns out to be a researcher writing a new edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and he pulls Arthur off the planet seconds before it goes. Garth Jennings follows them out into space, where Arthur, still in his dressing gown, has no idea what he has agreed to.
