The Holiday

“It's Christmas Eve and we are going to go celebrate being young and being alive.”

Two strangers have never met, yet days before Christmas Amanda (Cameron Diaz) in Los Angeles and Iris (Kate Winslet) in England agree to live in each other's houses. Both are escaping a bad breakup, and Nancy Meyers sends them off to a place where nobody knows them. Amanda finds Graham (Jude Law) and Iris finds Miles (Jack Black), each wondering how much will survive once the visit ends.
