The Holy Innocents

No one in the farmhouse speaks of why the family never leaves the estate, or why the masters who work them like animals are never answered back. Paco, El Bajo (Alfredo Landa) and his relatives, including Régula (Terele Pávez), labor from dawn in 1960s Extremadura, and Mario Camus keeps their submission quiet and daily. Paco says almost nothing, but he holds to one hope, that his children will someday get to study.
