The Holy Mountain

In the mountains, the dancer Diotima (Leni Riefenstahl) meets Karl (Luis Trenker) and the two fall in love. Arnold Fanck splits the film into nine parts, each opened by an intertitle, and Riefenstahl makes her first appearance on screen. Karl's friend Vigo (Ernst Petersen) wrongly believes she loves him, and the three of them pull apart.
