The Holy Mountain

The Thief (Horacio Salinas) is a man with nothing, a figure who drifts through a world of cruelty and spectacle until he meets the Alchemist (Alejandro Jodorowsky), who offers him a place in a strange company. Jodorowsky, who also designed the sets and costumes, gathers people from every walk of life, each standing for a planet, and strips away what they own. The Thief joins them for the climb up the Holy Mountain, still carrying nothing but himself.
