The Honest Candidate 2
João Ernesto (Leandro Hassum), a Brazilian politician, turns himself in and is arrested on corruption charges. Roberto Santucci follows him as he sets out to answer the charges with plain sincerity and real proposals, with Amanda (Rosanne Mulholland) and Ivan Pires (Cássio Pandolph) among those around him. The comedy comes from a country where an honest politician is the strangest thing anyone has seen.
