The Honest One

Mutemet Ali Rıza (Şener Şen) is a government pay clerk so honest that nobody, including his own family, takes him seriously. Then he is robbed while carrying a large sum of work money, and the neighborhood decides he staged it and kept the cash. Ertem Eğilmez follows the rumor as it turns a man nobody noticed into the one everybody talks about, with his mother-in-law (Adile Naşit) and his wife Naciye (Ayşen Gruda) looking on.
