The Horrible Dr. Hichcock

“The candle of his lust burnt brightest in the shadow of the grave!”

Cynthia (Barbara Steele) carries her new name into a London house that still holds the first Mrs. Hichcock's dead presence, having just married the doctor who lost her. Riccardo Freda sets the story in the late nineteenth century, and Prof. Bernard Hichcock (Robert Flemyng) keeps his strange appetites close, while a figure from the grave may be walking the halls. Cynthia has only the maid and her husband for company, and her life is what stands to be taken.
