The Hound of the Baskervilles

“Holmes and Watson's most chilling case... an age-old curse... a ravenous monster...”

Sherlock Holmes (Ian Richardson) is a detective who trusts what he can measure, and he is hired to look into a family curse he has no use for. Dr. Mortimer (Denholm Elliott) brings him the case of a nobleman newly arrived at his inherited estate, with Dr. Watson (Donald Churchill) along. Douglas Hickox sends them toward the Baskerville land, where Holmes keeps his reasoning ahead of the dread.
