The House at the End of Time

“There's no turning back.”

Dulce (Ruddy Rodriguez) keeps seeing apparitions inside her old house, and she has to work out what they want before a prophecy of her family's death comes true. Alejandro Hidalgo, in this 2013 Venezuelan production, sets the dread in the family itself, in a mother trying to read the house for answers. What hangs over her is the plain question of whether a parent's love can protect her children from what is already coming.
