The House by the Sea

In 2017, a villa sits above a small bay near Marseille, where an old man is dying and his three children have come back to be with him. Angèle (Ariane Ascaride) and her brothers, in the house their father built around shared ideals, start to weigh what of that they actually kept. Robert Guédiguian places the family on the terrace above the water, with the nearby cove just out of the frame.
