The House of Exorcism

Lisa Reiner (Elke Sommer) is a young woman who finds herself possessed, and Father Michael (Robert Alda) is called in to drive out whatever has taken hold of her. Mario Bava's earlier film, Lisa and the Devil, was recut for American audiences, with Alfredo Leone adding new scenes and folding in footage of Telly Savalas, Sylva Koscina and Alida Valli. Two films are stitched into one, and the seam between them is where the dread comes from.
