The House of Us

“A haven built on wishes.”

In a South Korean summer, the film starts with Hana (Kim Na-yeon), a girl whose home is troubled and whose days are mostly her own to fill. She befriends two younger girls, Yoo-mi (Kim Sia) and Yu-jin (Joo Ye-rim), and goes adventuring with them at the seaside. Yoon Ga-eun builds the film around how much Hana wants this ordinary friendship to hold, since it is the only normal thing she has.
