The House on Telegraph Hill

Victoria Kowelska (Valentina Cortese) survives a concentration camp and takes the name of a dead friend to win passage to America. Robert Wise sends her to San Francisco, to a house on Telegraph Hill where she is welcomed in as family, with Alan Spender (Richard Basehart) at the door. The identity that carried her out of Europe now ties her to a household of greed and murder, and a single slip could cost her everything.
