The House That Screamed

“One by one they will die!”

Girls at an isolated boarding school in southern France keep disappearing, and nobody in the house will say where they have gone. Teresa (Cristina Galbó) arrives in the nineteenth century to find Mrs. Fourneau (Lilli Palmer) running the place with strict, tyrannical control, her weak son Luis (John Moulder-Brown) always lingering nearby. Chicho Ibáñez Serrador keeps Teresa behind the walls with the rest, learning what it takes to stay unnoticed.
