The House That Would Not Die
“What terrible secrets are locked in the walls of the old Campbell house? What accounts for the sounds of a violent struggle and a woman's scream?”
In the Amish country, Ruth Bennett (Barbara Stanwyck) moves into an old house with her niece Sara Dunning (Kitty Winn), and the place already has a reputation as haunted. John Llewellyn Moxey made this for ABC's Movie of the Week in 1970, with Richard Egan and Michael Anderson Jr. in the cast. The story deals in witchcraft and black magic, and in the belief that a house can hold onto what has happened inside it.
