The House Where Evil Dwells

Ted Fletcher (Edward Albert) is a writer who takes his wife Laura (Susan George) and daughter Amy (Amy Barrett) to Kyoto on an extended working holiday, at the urging of his diplomat friend Alex (Doug McClure). Alex finds them a house in the hills, and the family moves in, laughing off the rumors that the place is haunted. Kevin Connor's film gives the ghost of the samurai Shigero a purpose: to make the Fletchers re-enact a murder-suicide from 1840.
