The House with a Clock in Its Walls

“This house knows what makes you tick.”

A ticking noise inside the walls of a creaky old mansion keeps up day and night, and no one will explain it. Ten-year-old Lewis Barnavelt (Owen Vaccaro), newly orphaned, arrives there to live with his Uncle Jonathan (Jack Black), who turns out to be a warlock. Eli Roth builds the household around Jonathan's bickering friendship with his neighbor Florence Zimmerman (Cate Blanchett), a bond that becomes Lewis's first real shelter.
