The Housemaid

“When Opportunity Knocks, Answer at Your Own Risk.”

Why does a family this comfortable need a new maid, and what happens to the one who takes the job? Eun-yi (Jeon Do-yeon) is hired to work in the mansion of Hoon (Lee Jung-jae), a wealthy businessman, and he soon starts pursuing her, with little room for her to refuse. Im Sang-soo, remaking Kim Ki-young's 1960 film, fills the big house with polished surfaces and lets the women of the family watch.
