The Howl

Anita (Tina Aumont) runs out on her own wedding with a stranger named Coso (Gigi Proietti), and the two set off across a landscape that keeps getting stranger. Tinto Brass sends them past talking animals, a rock that lectures them, a psychedelic hotel, a prison riot and a tree full of naked cannibals. Underneath the jokes, it's a film about two people who have left every rule behind and have no map for what comes after.
