The Humans

Erik Blake (Richard Jenkins) drives his family in from Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving at his daughter Brigid's apartment in lower Manhattan, with his wife Deirdre (Jayne Houdyshell) and his mother along. Stephen Karam, adapting his own play, keeps the whole evening inside those rooms as dark falls and strange noises start in the walls. Erik sits at the table with his plate, listening to the building knock and settle around him.
