The Hummingbird

Marco Carrera (Pierfrancesco Favino) is married to Marina (Kasia Smutniak), his parents quarrel, and everyone around him is restless, while Luisa (Bérénice Bejo), the girl he met one summer in the '70s, stays in touch across the years. Francesca Archibugi follows him through decades of family trouble and bad luck that keeps arriving at his door. Marco stays put through all of it, a man called the hummingbird for how hard he works at holding still.
