The Hummingbird Project

“Everything is on the line.”

Vincent Zaleski (Jesse Eisenberg) wants to make millions by shaving a few milliseconds off the time it takes to trade, and he has a plan to lay a fiber-optic cable in a straight line to the exchange. He drags in his cousin Anton (Alexander Skarsgård), the coder who has to make the numbers work, and together they take on their former boss, Eva Torres (Salma Hayek Pinault). Kim Nguyen keeps the film on the two cousins, one pushing and one bending under it.
