The Humpbacked Horse

Ivan (voice of Mariya Vinogradova) catches a thief trampling his family's wheat field, and the thief turns out to be a magic mare, who leaves him two horses and a small humpbacked foal, Konyok-gorbunok (Svetlana Kharlap). Ivan Ivanov-Vano remakes his own 1947 Soyuzmultfilm picture as a bright, hand-painted folk tale. Ivan sits on the humpbacked horse, one small figure against the wide painted field.
