The Hunger Games

“The world will be watching.”

When the name of her younger sister is drawn at the reaping, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) steps forward and volunteers to take her place. She is sent from her district to the Capitol with Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), the other tribute, to fight to the death on live television, as Gary Ross films it. Every kid sent into the arena is a child someone else has to watch die.
