The Hunt

Three men who fought on the same side in the Spanish Civil War meet again to hunt rabbits, and an old grievance sits between them from the start. José (Ismael Merlo), Paco (Alfredo Mayo) and Luis (José María Prada) bring along Enrique (Emilio Gutiérrez Caba) and Juan (Fernando Sánchez Polack), who never lived through the war. Carlos Saura shows how a war that officially ended long ago stays alive in the men who fought it.
