The Hunt

“The lie is spreading.”

Lucas (Mads Mikkelsen) is a divorced kindergarten teacher in a small Danish village at Christmas, and his life is finally picking up: a new relationship, good news about his son. Then Klara, a child in his class and the daughter of his closest friend Theo (Thomas Bo Larsen), tells a small lie, and the village hears it. Thomas Vinterberg puts everything Lucas has at risk, his job, his friendships, and any chance of keeping his son.
