The Hunters

A hunting party out on New Year's Eve 1976 comes across the body of a partisan from the Civil War of the late forties, and the dead man is still bleeding. The five men in the group, among them Savvas (Vangelis Kazan), carry the standing of the Greek bourgeoisie and cannot agree on what they are looking at. Theo Angelopoulos follows them through the night as the war they thought was buried comes back to be answered for.
