“South Sea Adventure Calls”

Why does a sailor named Terangi (Jon Hall) end up in a colonial prison for hitting back at a man who had it coming? His wife Marama (Dorothy Lamour) waits at home while the island's people petition the governor, DeLaage (Raymond Massey), to let him out. John Ford follows Terangi through the one thing he wants, to get back to Marama, with a tropical storm still on its way in.
