The Hypnotist

In Sweden, a woman and her parents are found murdered, and the son who barely escaped lies badly hurt in a hospital bed. Detective Inspector Joona Linna (Tobias Zilliacus) turns to the psychiatrist Erik Maria Bark (Mikael Persbrandt) to hypnotize the boy, because a surviving daughter is still missing. Lasse Hallström puts them in the same room, and the hunt for her runs through what each man has to trust in the other.
