The Ice Cream Truck

“Suburbia can be a killer.”

Mary (Deanna Russo) drives back into the suburban hometown she left behind, a woman returning to the cul-de-sacs of her youth. The quiet streets feel smaller and stranger than she remembers, and a mysterious Ice Cream Man (Emil Johnsen) keeps turning up among the lawns. Megan Freels Johnston, granddaughter of crime writer Elmore Leonard, writes and directs it as a slow, uneasy study of the neighborhood.
