“The true enigma was the man who cracked the code.”

In the darkest days of World War II, Britain's Government Code and Cypher School at Bletchley Park is racing to break German intelligence messages. Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch) arrives to join a team of brilliant code-breakers, among them Joan Clarke (Keira Knightley), and Morten Tyldum follows their work through its procedural detail. The title borrows the name of the game Turing proposed in 1950 for testing whether a machine can think.
