The Importance of Tying Your Own Shoes

Alex (Sverrir Gudnason) thinks highly of himself, though he has no job and a girlfriend who is losing patience. The only work he can land is with the council in Hudiksvall, where he ends up leading a theatre group of people with learning difficulties. Lena Koppel draws on the real Glada Hudik Theatre, and the film sets out to show that anyone's talent can grow when someone gives it room and support.
