The In-Laws

“The FIRST Certified Crazy Person's Comedy.”

A dinner meant to introduce two families turns into a getaway almost at once. Sheldon Kornpett (Alan Arkin), a dentist with a daughter about to marry, is pulled by the groom's father, Vince Ricardo (Peter Falk), into one chase after another, from New York to a Central American country. Arthur Hiller sets the nervous, careful Sheldon next to the grinning Vince, and the wedding that connects them hardly seems to matter to either man.
