The Incredibles

(2004)Directed by Brad Bird115 min · PGAction, Adventure, Animation, Family
“Super strength can’t carry a family.”

Bob Parr (Craig T. Nelson) sits in a cubicle as an insurance adjuster, trying to stay quiet about the powers that once made him Mr. Incredible. A mysterious assignment pulls him back into costume, and his wife Helen (Holly Hunter), formerly Elastigirl, and their three children get drawn in behind him. Brad Bird sets it in a retro-futuristic 1960s, where the Parrs' suburban house is the only place all of them can stop hiding.
