The Indian in the Cupboard

“Adventure comes to life.”

Omri (Hal Scardino) turns nine and wants one thing more than anything, which is for his birthday toys to be real. The old cupboard he gets from a friend makes it happen: lock a plastic figure inside, turn the key, and Little Bear (Litefoot) steps out, alive and furious. Frank Oz keeps the story small and close, with a boy who must hide a living person from his family, and every risk falls on that secret.
