The Influence

(2019)Directed by Denis Rovira van Boekholt99 minHorror

Alicia (Manuela Vellés), a nurse, moves back into her family home to look after her dying mother, Victoria (Emma Suárez). The house brings her childhood memories with it, and she begins to sense an evil force living in its rooms. Denis Rovira van Boekholt, adapting Ramsey Campbell's 1988 novel for his first feature, builds the dread slowly and keeps the camera inside the house with her.
