The Inheritance

(2001)Directed by Daniel Filho96 minComedy, Drama

The funeral brings Selma (Glória Pires), Regina (Andréa Beltrão), Laura (Palomma Duarte) and Lúcia (Lília Cabral) back together, and then they have to split their mother's apartment in Copacabana and everything inside it. Daniel Filho watches them go through the belongings, each sister weighing what she took from her life against what the others did with theirs. Selma goes in sure of herself, and the sale gives her no way to stay that way.
