The Innocent
It is New Year's Eve in 1956, and Mané (Silvia Pinal) is driving from Mexico City to her parents' country house in Cuernavaca after a fight with her boyfriend. Her car dies on the highway, and the mechanic Cruci (Pedro Infante) pulls up, checks the engine, and offers her a ride on his motorcycle. Rogelio A. González keeps the film moving as a single long night, with a mother (Sara García) and a pair of drinks waiting at the end of the road.
