The Innocents

“Apparitions? Evils? Corruptions?”

Miss Giddens (Deborah Kerr) wants one thing from her first post: to be good at it, and to be what the two children in her care need. She takes the job in a large Essex country house, with Mrs. Grose (Megs Jenkins) as her only ally and an absent uncle who wants no part of the children. Jack Clayton sets her to watching Miles (Martin Stephens) and his sister, and she begins to fear for their safety.
