It is the 1980s in Adıyaman, a small Turkish town under a military regime, where the local musicians are hired by the army and trained to welcome one of the coup's forceful generals. Abuzer Yayladalı (Cezmi Baskin) rehearses his ragged band while Muharrem Gülmez and Sırrı Süreyya Önder follow the preparations. The parade is coming, and a bad note in front of that general could cost every player more than his pay.
