Billy McMahon (Vince Vaughn) and Nick Campbell (Owen Wilson) lose their jobs as watch salesmen and cannot work out how a pair in their 40s will ever land at Google. Somehow they talk their way into an internship, placed on a team of twenty-somethings far quicker with code than they are. Shawn Levy keeps the focus on the two friends, a pair who have always had each other's back, now scrambling to keep up.
