The Interpreter

“The truth needs no translation.”

Silvia Broome (Nicole Kidman) just wants to do her job as an interpreter at United Nations headquarters, until she overhears a plan to assassinate someone and cannot unhear it. Sydney Pollack, who was the first to shoot inside the UN building itself, sends Secret Service agent Tobin Keller (Sean Penn) to look into what she says she heard. Keller is not sure he believes her, and she is not sure she can trust him.
