The Inugami Family

When the Inugami tycoon dies, his family gathers to hear the will. He has left the whole fortune to Tamayo Nonomiya (Yoko Shimada), an outsider, on the condition that she marry one of his grandsons. The detective Kosuke Kindaichi (Koji Ishizaka) is drawn in as the relatives turn on one another, and Kon Ichikawa stages it as a procession of stiff, formal rooms and sharp, unsmiling faces.
