The Invasion

(2007)Directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel99 min · PG-13Horror, Mystery, Science Fiction, Thriller
“Do not trust anyone. Do not show emotion. Do not fall asleep.”

Carol Bennell (Nicole Kidman), a Washington, D.C. psychologist, needs to get to her young son Oliver (Jackson Bond) after a crashed space shuttle spreads an alien virus through the city. Anyone it touches changes while they sleep, becoming calm, unfeeling people who look exactly as they did before. Oliver Hirschbiegel directs her and Dr. Ben Driscoll (Daniel Craig) through a city where feeling anything is what gives you away.
