The Inventor

“Imagination takes flight.”

Leonardo da Vinci (Stephen Fry) is a restless old inventor who wants room to build flying machines and to cut into the human body and see how it works. He finds it at the French court, where the young Princess Marguerite (Daisy Ridley) joins him in his experiments. Jim Capobianco and Pierre-Luc Granjon mix stop-motion puppets with hand-drawn sketches, but it is Leonardo who carries the film, headstrong and never finished asking.
