Robert Griffin (Jon Hall), a fugitive with a madman's temper, walks into an English village looking for the partner who left him for dead in the jungle after they found a diamond mine. The partner has since lost the mine and everything it brought him, though he still lives in luxury, and Griffin does not believe him. Ford Beebe stages the whole film around one plain question: what a man will do once nobody can see him do it.
