The Invisible Ray

Dr. Janos Rukh (Boris Karloff) brings home a fragment of a meteorite made of Radium X, an element that can heal the sick. Exposure to its rays has already begun to change his body, and his wife Diana (Frances Drake) and colleagues like Dr. Felix Benet (Bela Lugosi) watch him pull away from them. Lambert Hillyer follows a brilliant man whose discovery should have made him a benefactor, and who instead lets it turn him against everyone near him.
