The Invisible Woman

(1940)Directed by A. Edward Sutherland72 minComedy, Horror, Science Fiction
“She Has an Invisible Touch”

Kitty Carroll (Virginia Bruce) models clothes in a department store, and she wants one thing: to get back at the boss who treats her badly. She volunteers for Professor Gibbs (John Barrymore), whose machine can make a person invisible, and A. Edward Sutherland films the experiment as a screwball comedy. Barrymore stands over the apparatus in his lab, ready to throw the switch.
