The Invite

“It'll be fun.”

Los Angeles, one night. Joe (Seth Rogen) and Angela (Olivia Wilde) are invited to a dinner party at the home of old friends, Pina (Penélope Cruz) and Hawk (Edward Norton), though Joe and Angela's marriage has gone quiet. What unfolds across the evening is a collision of old intimacy and present resentment, each couple holding onto different versions of who they used to be. By morning, Joe has seen what his marriage has become and cannot unsee it.
